Electrical Engineering Quality Assurance Lead

As an Electrical Engineering Quality Assurance Lead, you will review AI-generated engineering content and trainer QA work. You will check whether technical explanations are accurate, clear, consistent, safe, and aligned with project rubrics.

You will also give written feedback, share quality updates, support remote contributor onboarding, and help maintain the guidance used across electrical engineering projects.

• Review circuit analyses, electrical engineering explanations, diagrams, calculations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Check for incorrect assumptions, unsafe recommendations, missing units, unclear reasoning, and inconsistent standards awareness.
• Evaluate design recommendations, circuit work, troubleshooting workflows, and rubric adherence.
• Provide precise written feedback and communicate project updates to trainers and quality reviewers.
• Maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, examples, honeypots, calibration tasks, and onboarding materials.
• Flag recurring quality issues and help improve quality assurance workflows.

What it pays and takes

This is a part-time contractor role for contributors based in the United States. The listing is marked entry level, but the role requires at least three years of relevant professional experience.

• Pay: $105 per hour.
• Time: 20 or more hours per week.
• Location: United States.
• Language: Strong English communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering, power engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a closely related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in electrical engineering or related technical review work.
• Knowledge: Circuit analysis, electronics, electromagnetics, signals and systems, power systems, control systems, and electrical safety.
• Additional experience with AI training, rubric-based evaluation, technical content quality assurance, or remote team coordination is highly valued.
