The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking an Education and Tutoring Expert for a remote contractor project. You will participate in realistic one-on-one tutoring and educational conversations with other project participants.

The work involves simulating common tutoring scenarios, including explaining concepts, answering questions, guiding learners, and providing academic support. You will tailor your approach to different learning needs, levels, understanding, and progress.

The project is expected to run for 3 to 6 months and pays $50 to $100 per hour.

What You'll Do

You will demonstrate the communication and instructional skills used in effective tutoring and academic coaching. Conversations should feel natural, helpful, accurate, and representative of real-world educational interactions.

You will also follow project guidelines while adapting your communication style to each learner's needs.

Requirements And Preferred Qualifications

This is an expert-level opportunity for candidates with strong education, tutoring, teaching, or academic coaching experience. Several years of hands-on experience is preferred, along with the ability to explain ideas clearly and adjust instruction for different learners.

Candidates must be based in the United States and fluent in English. Remote work experience and comfort participating in paired conversation sessions are also important.
