The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Dutch AI Safety Evaluation Expert to assess prompts and conversations involving sensitive and dual-use information. You will apply structured evaluation standards, explain your decisions clearly, and help identify escalation patterns and other safety concerns.

What You'll Do

You will create and evaluate written material in Netherlands Dutch while following detailed safety and classification guidelines. Careful documentation is essential because each decision should be understandable, consistent, and supported by clear reasoning.

  • Classify prompts and conversations using structured guidelines
  • Identify adversarial wording and escalation patterns

Required Qualifications

You should be comfortable making nuanced written judgments in Dutch and English. Prior AI or machine learning experience is not required, and training is provided on the workflow.

  • Native or near-native fluency in Dutch as spoken in the Netherlands
  • Business-level written English for clear written judgments
  • Ability to write sensitive-topic prompts in Netherlands Dutch
  • Strong written reasoning and attention to detail
  • Ability to classify prompts and conversations using structured guidelines
  • Sound judgment when handling sensitive and dual-use information
  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress
  • Ability to work remotely while based in the Netherlands

Helpful Background

Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content can help you succeed. Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing is also useful when assessing difficult prompts and explaining decisions clearly.
