The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Belgian Dutch STEM AI Safety Evaluator to create expert-level prompts in the Belgian variety of Dutch and assess AI-generated responses across specialized scientific topics.

You will evaluate scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and sensitive-content handling while classifying prompts and conversations according to structured guidelines. The work requires sound judgment when reviewing dual-use information related to chemical, biological, and radiological or nuclear topics.

What You’ll Do

You will use your scientific expertise to produce and review text-based training data. Your feedback will help identify risks and improve the safety and quality of AI model behavior.

  • Write expert-level prompts in Belgian Dutch across specialized scientific topics.
  • Evaluate model responses for scientific accuracy and helpfulness.
  • Assess whether sensitive content is handled appropriately.
  • Classify prompts and conversations using structured guidelines.
  • Identify scientific safety risks and provide responsible feedback.
  • Review topics spanning chemical, biological, and radiological or nuclear subject matter.

Requirements

Applicants must have PhD-level knowledge in chemistry, biology, or a closely related scientific field, with sufficient depth to write prompts across relevant scientific subject areas. The PhD may be completed or in progress.

You should be a native or near-native speaker of Dutch as spoken in Belgium and have business-level written English. Current residence in Belgium is required.
