About AI training and why it matters

AI training (also called data labeling, annotation, or human feedback work) is the human side of building AI: people prepare, evaluate, and refine the examples models learn from. This role sits at the intersection of creative product design and AI training, where strong visual design and hands-on annotation experience both matter.

Work is remote and flexible, making it a good fit for part-time contributors who want to shape real products and AI behaviors while keeping a flexible schedule.

The role

You will design visually compelling, brand-forward web experiences and take them end-to-end using modern no-code platforms. The focus is commercial: high-converting landing pages and storefronts that reflect brand identity and strong marketing performance.

This is a hands-on design and implementation role: you will craft layouts and typography, build pages in a no-code environment, optimize for conversion, and launch live web pages. The position does not require backend development or research-heavy UX work.

What you'll do

• Design visually engaging landing pages, homepages, and storefronts that reflect strong brand identity and commercial goals.
• Build and launch pages end-to-end using no-code platforms such as Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, or WordPress.
• Implement layout, hierarchy, and typography best practices to improve readability and conversion.
• Iterate on designs based on performance metrics and feedback to improve engagement and sales outcomes.
• Coordinate implementation details, ensure live pages match design intent, and troubleshoot visual/implementation issues.
• Apply your hands-on annotation, evaluation, or rubric-based QA experience when requested to support data-quality tasks related to images or content.

Requirements

We require real, demonstrable experience and a portfolio with live website links. Candidates must be able to show prior work built and deployed on no-code platforms and explain the role they played in launching those pages.

• Hands-on text annotation, evaluation, or rubric-based QA experience.
• Hands-on image annotation or image review experience.
• Experience building and deploying end-to-end on no-code platforms (Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, WordPress).
• Demonstrated UI design skills and a strong portfolio with live links.
• Solid knowledge of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with ecommerce and digital brand design principles.
• Experience level: Intermediate.
• Time commitment: Less than 20 hours per week; employment type: Contractor, Part-time.
• Compensation: Hourly pay (range $10–$25/hr; posted rate $20/hr).
• You may work with image data and labeling tasks; label types listed for this project include ENTITY_NER_CLASSIFICATION, EVALUATION_RATING, and COMPUTER_PROGRAMMING_CODING.
