The role

You will perform contract redlining and evaluation tasks that teach models how to review fund-related documents and simulate negotiation scenarios.

This is part-time contract work focused on generating expert annotations, assessing AI-produced redlines, and building objective grading criteria for future model training.

What you'll do

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises using AI-generated scenarios.
• Review AI-generated responses to contract scenarios and provide detailed, expert feedback.
• Create objective evaluation frameworks, grading rubrics, and quality criteria for contract review tasks.
• Refine guidelines, example annotations, and best practices so AI systems learn consistent, defensible redlines.

Required qualifications

• Active U.S. bar admission (required).
• Experience in a funds department at a corporate law firm (LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters).
• Proven experience reviewing or redlining contracts and familiarity with fund document conventions.
• Fluency in English and strong written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow detailed project instructions and rubrics consistently.
• Comfort evaluating and providing feedback on AI-generated legal responses.

Schedule, pay, and engagement

This is a part-time contractor role (less than 20 hours per week). You will work remotely and independently on assigned tasks.

Pay is hourly at $80–$105 USD per hour, depending on experience and task complexity.

How the work is done

Tasks include grading model outputs (RLHF and evaluation ratings), generating or editing contract redlines (text generation), and documenting evaluation decisions. You will use provided guidelines and examples to ensure consistency.

You must be comfortable working as an independent contractor, applying rubrics precisely, and helping improve the underlying guidelines over time.
