You will support AI training by using advanced AI models and agents to investigate research questions in computer science and computational or mathematical physics. The work combines proof attempts, algorithm development, simulations, literature review, and careful technical reporting.
You will assess whether research outputs are correct, reproducible, and potentially novel. Your reports will explain the methods used, partial results, challenges, and promising directions.
- Identify open problems, new bounds, and research challenges that can be investigated.
- Use AI models and agents to attempt proofs, develop algorithms, and run computational simulations.
- Verify proofs, reproduce numerical results, and use formal tools when appropriate.
- Compare findings with recent published research to assess correctness and novelty.
- Write thorough reports covering methods, results, challenges, and next steps.
What It Pays and Takes
