Code Generation And Model Evaluation Engineer

You will help improve AI systems by working with real-world code, coding tasks, and model outputs. The work combines software development, code review, coding-task design, model evaluation, and written technical reasoning.

You will work across Python, Java, Rust, C++, Go, and TypeScript codebases. You will identify defects, assess solution quality, provide useful feedback, and support reliable model outputs.

• Analyze, debug, and resolve issues across supported programming languages.
• Build, refactor, and optimize software for performance, maintainability, and adaptability.
• Create and review coding tasks used to measure AI model performance and accuracy.
• Write clear annotations and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders on high-quality code and model outputs.

What It Pays And Takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor opportunity for candidates in the listed countries. The role is described as entry level, but it requires strong programming judgment and technical skills.

• Pay: $50 to $100 per hour equivalent, paid per task that meets the project specifications.

• Additional skills: Careful code validation, strong analytical ability, attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Experience with open-source contributions or collaborative software projects is important.
• Helpful background: Experience as a problem setter, tester, or checker on a major competitive programming platform.
