About AI Training Work

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Experts create, review, and evaluate examples that help AI models learn how to reason accurately in specialized fields.

In this role, your accounting expertise will help create evaluation data that tests whether AI systems can understand professional accounting, auditing, and tax concepts in Taiwanese and Hong Kong contexts.

The Role

OpenTrain is seeking an accounting expert to write original multiple-choice questions for an AI evaluation dataset focused on Taiwanese and Hong Kong accounting, auditing, and tax. You will draw on your professional experience to create exam-style questions in written Traditional Chinese.

The work is fully remote, independent, and self-paced within the required weekly commitment. The role is listed as entry level, while requiring advanced academic preparation and relevant professional experience.

  • Contractor and part-time engagement
  • Pay range: $39.69–$48.51 per hour
  • Flexible remote work
  • Listing commitment: 20+ hours per week
  • Role description commitment: 40 hours per week
  • Languages: Native-level written Traditional Chinese
  • Eligible locations or background: Taiwan or Hong Kong

What You’ll Do

You will produce high-quality questions that accurately reflect real-world accounting practices in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Each item should be carefully constructed so that the answer choices are plausible and the solution clearly demonstrates the correct reasoning.

  • Write original exam-style multiple-choice questions
  • Provide ten plausible answer options for each question
  • Create a thorough worked solution for every item
  • Cover Taiwanese and Hong Kong accounting, auditing, and tax topics
  • Ensure questions are accurate, fair, and professionally relevant
  • Work independently and manage your output within the weekly commitment

Requirements

This project requires strong subject-matter expertise and familiarity with local professional practices. You should be able to write precisely in Traditional Chinese and apply your knowledge to challenging, exam-style evaluation content.

  • Master’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, or business
  • At least two years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or tax
  • Native-level proficiency in written Traditional Chinese
  • Based in or educated in Taiwan or Hong Kong
  • Ability to draft questions with ten answer options and a worked solution
  • Familiarity with Taiwanese or Hong Kong accounting standards and tax regulations

Preferred Background

Prior experience writing exam questions or contributing to AI training datasets is helpful, though the core requirements are your accounting expertise, Traditional Chinese writing ability, and familiarity with the Taiwanese or Hong Kong context.

  • Experience developing professional or academic assessment questions
  • Previous experience contributing to AI training or evaluation datasets
  • Hands-on experience in Taiwanese or Hong Kong accounting, auditing, or tax

Why Join This Project

This is an opportunity to apply specialized accounting knowledge to cutting-edge AI development. Your work will help models evaluate professional expertise more accurately while giving you flexible, remote access to meaningful work in the growing AI training industry.

  • Work remotely from an eligible location
  • Choose a flexible schedule within the required weekly commitment
  • Apply professional accounting knowledge to AI evaluation
  • Contribute to specialized Traditional Chinese training data
  • Build experience in a rapidly growing technology field
