The Role

OpenTrain is hiring a Chinese Simplified general-knowledge question writer to create original multiple-choice questions for an AI evaluation dataset. You will independently develop exam-style questions based on your own expertise and knowledge, including ten answer options and a worked solution for each question.

What You'll Do

Your work will help create high-quality evaluation material for assessing AI systems. Questions should be original, clearly written in Chinese Simplified, and accompanied by solutions that show the reasoning or method needed to reach the correct answer.

• Write original general-knowledge multiple-choice questions in Chinese Simplified.
• Create exam-style questions for an AI evaluation dataset.
• Provide ten answer options for each question.
• Write a worked solution for each question.
• Draw on your own expertise and knowledge to develop content.
• Produce work independently while meeting the project schedule.

Requirements

This opportunity is intended for candidates with advanced academic preparation, relevant professional experience, and strong Chinese Simplified language ability. You must be able to independently author exam-style questions with clear, useful solutions.

• Master's degree or PhD.
• Two to six years of professional experience.
• Native-level Chinese Simplified proficiency.
• Educated in or based in China.
• Ability to write exam-style questions with ten answer options and worked solutions.

Schedule and Compensation

This is a part-time contractor role with flexible hours. The listed time requirement is 20 or more hours per week, with a default commitment of 40 hours per week.

• Pay: $39.69 to $48.51 per hour.
• Employment type: Contractor and part time.
• Location: Remote, with eligibility for candidates in China.
• Availability: 20 or more hours per week.
