You will record short, casual voice clips in which you naturally mix English and Chinese. There are no scripts or set scenarios, so you can talk about your day, share your opinions, or discuss anything that comes naturally.
- Record voice clips that are 1 to 2 minutes long.
- Speak naturally in both Chinese and English during each conversation.
- Use a phone or laptop to make the recordings.
- Record in a quiet setting with clear, audible sound.
- Keep background music, television, traffic, and other noise out of the recordings.
What It Pays and Takes
This is an entry-level, part-time contractor role. You do not need a studio or special recording equipment, but your recordings must be clear.
- Pay: $2 to $5 USD per hour.
- Time: Less than 20 hours per week.
- Location: Singapore or Malaysia.
- Languages: Fluent Chinese at C1 level or higher and fluent English at C1 level or higher.
- Equipment: A phone or laptop that can record audio.
- Audio quality: Your voice must be easy to hear, without background music, television, traffic, or other noise.
