Create clear CFD and aerodynamics challenges that test AI reasoning, using OpenFOAM and real engineering judgment. This remote UK contract pays $80 to $110 per hour for 10 to 40 hours each week.
The work
You will design compact engineering challenges that help AI models reason about fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, and simulation practice. The work combines technical assessment design with reviewing AI-generated answers and does not require machine-learning research experience.
Each task must be physically grounded, clear, self-contained, and objectively verifiable. You will use your CFD experience to create problems that reflect real simulation workflows.
- Design tasks covering boundary-condition selection, mesh quality, flow-regime identification, and simulation setup.
- Write precise problem statements that are unambiguous and physically sound.
- Build deterministic checkers that score model answers consistently.
- Create reference solutions showing that each task is solvable and scored correctly.
- Review and refine task accuracy, clarity, and difficulty.
- Use OpenFOAM experience to keep challenges connected to practical CFD workflows.
