The CAD Expert Role
As a CAD Expert, you will apply hands-on knowledge of CAD manufacturing and digital production workflows to help train next-generation AI systems. You will assess whether AI-generated content and recommendations are accurate, practical, and efficient for real manufacturing use cases.
This is a remote contractor role open to candidates based in Canada, Australia, Germany, India, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Brazil. The expected commitment is 15 to 20 hours per week, with work available on a fully flexible schedule, including after-hours and weekends when needed. The project is expected to last under one month.

What You'll Do
Your work will focus on expert evaluation and guidance for AI systems working with manufacturing processes, CAD, and digital production workflows.
Provide expert feedback on manufacturing processes and techniques
Draw on hands-on CAD experience, with CAM and CNC workflows especially welcome
Review, assess, and refine AI-generated content related to manufacturing workflows
Evaluate AI-generated recommendations for accuracy, practicality, and efficiency
Develop detailed rubrics for assessing manufacturing process quality
Validate rubrics used to evaluate manufacturing process accuracy and efficiency
Required Qualifications
You should bring expert-level knowledge of CAD manufacturing and digital production workflows, along with the ability to explain technical judgments clearly in written and verbal communication.
Hands-on experience with at least one CAD platform
Experience with tools such as Fusion 360, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Onshape, Inventor, CATIA, or Creo
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Clear, precise, and detail-oriented approach to technical feedback
Fluent English proficiency
Based in Canada, Australia, Germany, India, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Brazil
Preferred Qualifications
The following experience is valued but is not required for every applicant. These qualifications can help you contribute more effectively to manufacturing-focused AI evaluation.
Experience with Autodesk tools, particularly Fusion 360 or AutoCAD
Background in CAM, CNC machining, or digital manufacturing workflows
Python proficiency
Familiarity with large language models, generative design, or AI-assisted workflows
Comfort evaluating AI-generated output
Experience developing or applying process evaluation rubrics
