Why AI Training Work Matters
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building intelligent systems. Contributors annotate, evaluate, and improve model outputs so AI behaves more accurately and helpfully. This work is remote, flexible, and accessible—making it a great way to work in tech while shaping how AI performs in real-world professional settings.
100% remote work you can do from anywhere with an internet connection
Flexible scheduling that fits around other commitments
No prior AI experience required for many roles; language skill and attention to detail are often enough
The Role
As a Business Account Rater you will evaluate AI-generated responses tailored for professional users by comparing outputs against a user’s business email history and account activity. Your judgments help models learn to write accurate, relevant, and appropriately personalized business communications.
This is a contractor position that can range from part-time to nearly full-time (schedules can reach up to 40 hours/week). Work is remote but requires schedule overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST).
Contractor, part-time or up to full-time availability
Remote work with required overlap with PST
Work focuses on text-based AI responses and comparative evaluations (RLHF-style ratings)
What You’ll Do
You will read AI-generated responses alongside a professional user’s email history and business account signals, then judge how well each response fits the user’s context and needs. You’ll compare multiple model outputs, flag mistakes, and write structured feedback that helps improve model behavior.
Assess personalization quality, relevance, accuracy, and helpfulness of AI responses
Compare multiple model answers and select the stronger option
Identify unsupported assumptions, incorrect personalization, and irrelevant recommendations
Write clear, structured evaluation notes to guide model improvement
Follow detailed project guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality and data privacy
