About AI training work
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building AI: people prepare, evaluate, and correct examples so models learn to behave better. Contributors perform tasks like rating responses, spotting incorrect assumptions, and judging personalization—work that directly shapes real AI products.
This role focuses on personalized AI interactions for business users. Evaluations require careful judgment, consistent application of guidelines, and strict attention to confidentiality and privacy.
The role
As a Business Account Rater you'll evaluate AI-generated responses that use business email history and account activity as context. Your feedback will help improve relevance, personalization, and overall usefulness for professional users.

Role type: Contractor, part-time (project length: 3–4 months).

Roughly 1,000+ emails in an active business inbox.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written communication.
Reliable desktop or laptop with internet access and ability to work independently remotely.

Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, or QA.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
Comfort identifying subtle quality issues, unsupported assumptions, and personalization errors.

Preserve privacy and follow guidelines: you will be working with professional email context and must keep information confidential.
Commitment: typical 20+ hours/week; project asks for at least 4 hours per day and allows up to 40 hours/week.
You must provide at least 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST).
