The Role

OpenTrain is seeking an intermediate Buildium Workflow AI Training Specialist to complete and document realistic property management workflows in Buildium. You will use practical professional experience to demonstrate how properties, tenants, leases, payments, maintenance requests, and related operations are managed in the platform.

The advertised rate is $28-$92 per hour. This is part-time contractor work requiring 20 or more hours per week. The working language is English.

What You’ll Do

You will carry out assigned Buildium workflows, explain the actions and decisions involved, and turn completed tasks into structured material for AI training and quality review.

• Complete assigned Buildium workflows using practical property management experience.
• Create, update, and manage property, tenant, and lease information according to workflow instructions.
• Handle tenant management, leasing, rent tracking, payment, and maintenance workflows.
• Record your screen and clearly demonstrate the actions and decisions taken.
• Document workflow steps and explain the Buildium tools, features, and actions used.
• Create realistic prompts and detailed rubrics based on completed workflows.
• Review task outputs for accuracy and alignment with project quality standards.

Required Qualifications

This role requires current, hands-on experience using Buildium in a professional property management environment. You should be able to work independently, apply practical judgment, and explain operational processes clearly while completing realistic workflows.

• Strong professional experience using Buildium for property management workflows
• Experience with property operations, tenant and lease management, maintenance coordination, or related workflows
• Current access to Buildium and the ability to use it independently
• Ability to manage properties, tenants, leases, rent or payment tracking, and maintenance requests
• Strong attention to detail and clear process explanation skills
• Comfort recording and sharing your screen while appearing on camera
• Ability to create clear prompts and detailed rubrics from completed workflows

Helpful Experience

Experience with human-data work can help you succeed, especially if you have worked with data annotation, labeling, reinforcement learning from human feedback, AI response evaluation, or model evaluation. Experience documenting operational workflows and reviewing outputs against detailed rubrics is also valuable.
