What You'll Do
You will create and evaluate text-based training content that helps AI systems produce scientifically sound biochemical explanations. The work combines content generation, response comparison, scientific fact-checking, and precise written feedback.
Careful judgment is essential when reviewing mechanisms, pathways, figures, calculations, methods, units, concentrations, and experimental interpretations. You will identify errors while explaining clearly what a reliable answer should say and why.
- Create prompts, gold-standard answers, rewrites, and reference content
- Evaluate and rank AI responses for correctness, clarity, terminology, structure, relevance, and reasoning quality
- Fact-check biochemical claims and identify incorrect mechanisms, pathway errors, and flawed calculations
- Detect unsafe laboratory advice, unsupported claims, misleading simplifications, and overconfident interpretations
- Review experimental explanations, figures, methods, units, concentrations, and data interpretations
- Provide precise written feedback demonstrating clear biochemical reasoning
Requirements
You should have a bachelor's degree or higher in biochemistry, molecular biology, biology, chemistry, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, pharmacology, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may also qualify.
At least three years of relevant experience is required in biochemistry research, laboratory work, teaching, tutoring, scientific writing, academic review, life-science quality assurance, or related scientific work. Strong professional English writing ability at a minimum C1 level is required for detailed evaluations and feedback.
- Deep knowledge of proteins, enzymes, metabolism, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, lipids, cell signaling, molecular biology, and biochemical techniques
- Ability to assess biochemical mechanisms, pathways, figures, calculations, experimental interpretations, and scientific explanations
- Ability to identify hallucinated claims, flawed reasoning, unsafe guidance, misleading simplifications, and inaccurate biological or chemical statements
- Careful attention to terminology, units, methods, evidence, and scientific context
- Experience creating reference answers, scientific evaluations, prompts, or rubric-based AI training content is preferred
Helpful Background
Experience with enzyme kinetics, protein structure and stability, molecular biology methods, metabolic pathways, laboratory protocols, or scientific fact-checking will help you evaluate a broad range of biochemical content.
Familiarity with comparing multiple explanations and communicating corrections clearly is valuable. Prior AI training, annotation, scientific quality assurance, content review, or rubric-based evaluation experience is helpful but not required.
