The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking an Autodesk Fusion Expert for a fully remote contractor role focused on manufacturing process evaluation. You will apply advanced knowledge of CAM, CNC machining, digital manufacturing, and Autodesk Fusion 360 to review AI-generated content and help establish reliable evaluation rubrics.

The project is expected to run for 3 to 6 months. The rate is $80 to $120 USD per hour, with an expected rate of $100 USD per hour.

What You'll Do

You will provide detailed subject-matter feedback on manufacturing processes and AI-generated recommendations. Your assessments will help define how AI systems are evaluated for accuracy, efficiency, and usefulness in professional manufacturing workflows.

  • Evaluate CAM, CNC, and Autodesk Fusion 360 applications and workflows.
  • Review, assess, and refine AI-generated manufacturing content and recommendations.
  • Develop detailed rubrics for evaluating manufacturing process accuracy and efficiency.
  • Validate evaluation rubrics for consistency and practical relevance.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

This opportunity is designed for an expert in CAM, CNC machining, and digital manufacturing. Prior AI experience is not required because your domain knowledge is the primary qualification. Teaching experience is highly preferred, particularly where it supports clear explanations, structured feedback, or process evaluation.

  • Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Fusion 360 and related manufacturing software platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
