The Role

We are urgently hiring participants located in a Spanish-speaking country to complete a short audio recording task. No advanced English is required; an accent is preferred because you will record individual English words rather than full sentences.

This is a contract, part-time task that should take about one hour to finish. Payment is a flat rate of $9.24 upon successful completion and verification of your recordings.

What You'll Do

You will record 11 specific trigger words. Each word must be recorded 12 times under different conditions, for a total of 132 separate audio clips.

Each recording must include one second of silence before and after the spoken word, and have no background noise.

• Record each word 4 times in a quiet indoor space (vary speed and tone).
• Record each word 4 times in a reflective environment (e.g., bathroom or hallway) to capture echo/reverb variations.
• Record each word 4 times in a quiet space using four emotional tones: angry, scared/panicked, worried, and excited.

Requirements

Follow these requirements exactly so your recordings pass quality checks and you receive payment.

You must be located in a Spanish-speaking country and have basic English speaking ability to pronounce the short trigger words.

• Reliable equipment: a good-quality microphone or headphones with a built-in mic that captures clear audio.
• Quiet and reflective recording spaces available (quiet indoor room and a reflective space like a bathroom or hallway).
• Attention to detail: include one second of silence before and after each word, and avoid background noise.
• Ability to produce varied speeds, tones, and four emotional states as listed.
• Basic technical skills to record and save audio files in the specified format.
• Availability to complete the task within the next 1–2 weeks.
