About this role OpenTrain is hiring a remote contractor for architectural AI training work focused on Vectorworks, CAD, and BIM. The role involves reviewing architectural drawings and models, annotating design materials, evaluating BIM content, and contributing feedback on architectural workflows, drawing conventions, and project documentation so AI systems learn from real-world expertise.
What You Will Do - Review and annotate architectural drawings and models for AI training - Provide real-world architectural and design input based on Vectorworks and CAD workflows - Evaluate BIM content against architectural standards and best practices - Share feedback on design processes, drawing conventions, and project documentation - Help identify gaps in system understanding and propose practical solutions grounded in industry experience
Required Skills - Basic proficiency with Vectorworks for architectural drafting and design - Solid understanding of CAD principles in an architectural context - Familiarity with architectural design processes and project documentation - Experience with BIM in architecture projects - Clear technical communication, analytical thinking, and strong attention to detail
Helpful Background - Hands-on experience in architectural studios or similar environments using Vectorworks - Familiarity with other CAD or BIM platforms - Comfort working independently in a remote contractor role - Interest in how AI is applied in design or architecture
Lead QA for AI-generated architecture and built-environment content: review design reasoning, spatial layouts, materials, accessibility, and coach remote trainers/QAs. Remote U.S. contractor role up to $75/hr, ~20+ hours/week.
