Why AI Training Work Matters
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building intelligent systems. Contributors create the examples and judgments that modern AI models learn from — a fast-growing way to work in tech with flexible, remote opportunities.
This role focuses on voice-first interactions: your recordings, transcripts, and ratings will directly shape how voice assistants understand and help Arabic speakers.
The Role
You will perform bilingual, voice-first evaluation work in Egyptian Arabic: speak naturally to an AI assistant while completing everyday tasks on your Mac, transcribe and clean up the audio, rate the assistant's outputs, and log results with supporting recordings.
This is a short-term, part-time contractor role with an immediate start and a clearly scoped 3-week project window.
Position: Arabic Voice AI Data Reviewer (contractor, part-time)
Start: Immediate
Duration: 3 weeks
Time: 20+ hours per week
Pay: $30 per hour (USD)
What You'll Do
Day-to-day tasks are voice-led and practical: you will speak to the assistant while doing ordinary productivity tasks, capture the spoken queries, create accurate transcripts, clean the text, rate responses, and upload recordings and structured logs.
Speak naturally to the assistant while completing tasks on your own Mac.
Compose messages, emails, and notes by voice across common productivity apps.
Direct the assistant to generate images, format text, apply spreadsheet formulas, and summarize documents.
Record accurate transcripts and produce cleaned-up transcripts for each session.
Rate assistant responses and maintain structured task logs with uploaded recordings.
Requirements
All requirements below come from the project scope. Please do not apply unless you meet them exactly.
Native or near-native Egyptian Arabic proficiency.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
Ownership of a Mac with Apple Silicon hardware running macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer.
Regular use of email, messaging, docs, spreadsheets, and browsers.
Comfort with detailed data entry, transcription, and self-directed quality review.
Who Should Apply
This role is a fit for entry-level contributors with strong Egyptian Arabic speaking and everyday productivity app experience. Prior transcription or AI-evaluation experience is helpful but not strictly required if you can follow English instructions and meet the technical requirements.
Entry-level friendly — suitable for people starting a career in AI training.
Good for freelancers seeking flexible, short-term remote work.
Ideal if you use macOS daily and are comfortable speaking and typing in both Arabic and English.
