Why AI training matters
AI training (data labeling and human feedback work) is the human side of building modern AI. People prepare and verify the examples models learn from — transcribing speech, checking timestamps, identifying speakers, and ensuring recordings are clean and private.
This work is highly flexible, often remote and part-time, and gives contributors a chance to influence how state-of-the-art systems understand real-world language and conversation.
The role: Arabic Audio QA Specialist
You will serve as the final quality check on multi-channel Arabic audio and the human-verified transcriptions used to train speech and conversational models. Your review makes sure recordings are technically sound, transcriptions are verbatim and time-aligned, speaker IDs and metadata are accurate, and privacy standards are enforced.
Evaluate multi-channel audio for technical quality, channel isolation, and noise issues such as bleed or clipping.
Validate human-reviewed transcriptions for word-level accuracy, verbatim capture, and correct timestamps.
Verify speaker identification and metadata tags, including demographic markers and conversational domains.
Audit sessions for PII or sensitive content and enforce privacy and safety standards.
Assign pass/fail statuses and provide clear, actionable feedback to annotators and reviewers.

Availability to work 20+ hours per week in a contractor, part-time capacity.
This role is worldwide-remote; candidates may apply from any country.

Training or academic background in linguistics or phonetics with familiarity in natural speech patterns.
Language teaching experience at native-level proficiency.
