About OpenTrain

OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help people start and grow careers teaching AI by connecting contributors with projects that shape how modern AI systems behave.

  • Create a free OpenTrain account to discover projects and apply in minutes.
  • Work in a fast-growing industry where human feedback directly influences AI behavior.

Why AI training work matters

AI training (data labeling / human feedback) is the human side of building AI. Contributors annotate code, review model responses, and rate outputs so models learn accurate, safe, and useful developer assistance.

This work is highly flexible and remote-friendly, often suitable as part-time work that fits around other commitments while keeping you at the cutting edge of developer tooling and model behavior.

  • Remote, flexible schedules — work from anywhere with an internet connection.
  • No centralized office or fixed hours required; many projects let you choose your workload.

The role

We are seeking an experienced Angular v17 developer to evaluate AI-generated prompts and responses related to Angular v17. Your evaluations will label correctness, point out errors, suggest improvements, and help the AI align with Angular best practices.

This is a contract, part-time role for under 20 hours per week, paid at $20 USD per hour. The work is worldwide and fully remote.

  • Project subject: Angular v17 — Deferrable Views, Hydration, Standalone Components, Signals, and reactivity patterns.
  • Data type: COMPUTER_CODE_PROGRAMMING; Label types: COMPUTER_PROGRAMMING_CODING;

What you'll do

Analyze AI-generated code snippets, explanations, and prompts for accuracy, relevance, and adherence to Angular v17 best practices. Provide structured feedback and corrections that can be converted into labels.

Categorize AI responses by correctness, identify bugs or anti-patterns, recommend improvements, and explain fixes clearly in English so the feedback can be used to refine model outputs.

  • Label and categorize AI responses for correctness and quality.
  • Provide clear, structured written feedback and suggested code fixes.
  • Point out performance, debugging, and reactivity issues specific to Angular v17.

Interview and assessment tasks

Candidates will undergo an AI-driven interview designed to verify technical expertise and English communication. The interview assesses hands-on experience, problem-solving, and ability to critique AI-generated code.

You will be asked specific technical questions, presented with a short Angular v17 code snippet containing a deliberate issue, and asked to identify and fix it. Expect probes into Deferrable Views, Hydration, Standalone Components, Signals, and reactivity patterns.

  • Confirm at least 5+ years of hands-on Angular experience, specifically with v17.
  • Describe recent real-world Angular v17 projects and practical examples for v17 features.
  • Explain how you would analyze, correct, and improve an AI-generated Angular v17 response.

Requirements

Must have deep, hands-on expertise in Angular v17 and its recent features (Deferrable Views, Hydration, Standalone Components, Signals). Strong English writing skills are required as feedback must be clear and structured.

Structured fields provided in the posting: Experience level: Entry level (note: this listing explicitly requires candidates with 5+ years of Angular v17 experience).

  • Minimum: 5+ years working with Angular, with demonstrable v17 experience.
  • Strong English written communication and ability to explain complex topics simply.
  • Willingness to perform structured labeling tasks and follow evaluation guidelines.

Compensation, schedule, and contract details

Pay: $20 USD per hour (PAY_PER_HOUR). Employment type: Contractor, Part-time. Time requirement: Less than 20 hours per week. This is remote and open to candidates worldwide.

Labeling software will be provided or specified (listed as OTHER). The project focuses on computer programming data and coding labels.

  • Hourly rate: $20 USD.
  • Part-time contractor role, under 20 hrs/week, remote worldwide.
  • Work involves reviewing code and writing clear, structured feedback suitable for labeling.

How to apply and next steps

Apply with examples of your Angular v17 work and a brief note describing your experience with Deferrable Views, Hydration, Standalone Components, and Signals. Include examples of past code reviews or evaluations if available.

Qualified applicants will be invited to an AI-driven technical interview and short live or written assessment that includes a sample buggy Angular v17 snippet to fix and a short feedback-writing exercise.

  • Include concrete project examples and describe your role in each.
  • Be prepared to complete a short technical fix and produce structured written feedback in English.
