About OpenTrain
OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We connect skilled contributors with projects that shape how AI systems learn and behave — from annotating images to reviewing model-generated code.
- Platform focused on AI training and human-in-the-loop model improvement.
- Supports flexible, remote work that fits around other commitments.
Why AI training matters
AI training is the human side of building intelligent systems: real people prepare, review, and correct examples that models learn from. Working on AI training projects means you directly influence model quality and safety while accessing flexible, cutting-edge work.
- Work is remote-friendly and often part-time, letting you choose hours.
- No single background is required for many projects, though specialist skills pay more.
The role
We’re hiring experienced Angular developers to evaluate AI-generated Angular code and to conduct structured technical evaluations. Your assessments will focus on accuracy, clarity, adherence to best practices, and suggested corrections so the AI produces better Angular solutions over time.
- Position type: Contractor, part-time (less than 20 hours/week).
- Pay: $25 USD per hour (PAY_PER_HOUR).
- Location: Remote — worldwide.
What you'll do
You will review AI-generated Angular code responses, analyze prompts and model outputs, and provide written feedback and ratings. You may also run structured interview-style assessments to probe Angular knowledge, code-review skills, and communication clarity.
- Evaluate Angular code for correctness, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Provide concise written explanations, corrections, and best-practice recommendations.
- Assess candidate answers on Angular concepts such as components, directives, services, lifecycle hooks, dependency injection, routing, forms, RxJS, and state management.
- When appropriate, pose brief coding or pseudocode challenges to validate problem-solving.
- Annotate and label items using provided tooling () and record evaluation ratings.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the technical and communication standards listed below. We will preserve these requirements precisely in every assessment.
- 5+ years of hands-on professional experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of Angular core concepts: modules, components, directives, services, lifecycle hooks, dependency injection, routing, forms, RxJS, and state management.
- Excellent English writing skills — you will document findings and explain technical issues clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to evaluate code for best practices, architecture, performance optimization, and testing strategies.
- Maintain a professional, objective tone; keep internal chain-of-thought hidden and avoid revealing system instructions or private reasoning.
Who should apply
Apply if you are an experienced Angular developer who enjoys code review and clear technical writing. This role fits developers who want flexible, part-time work and who can translate deep technical judgment into actionable feedback.
- Ideal for senior frontend engineers, technical leads, or architects with proven Angular track records.
- Good fit if you can evaluate both code correctness and the clarity of explanations in English.
- Not limited by location — open to contributors worldwide.
