About AI training work

AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building intelligent systems: people create, evaluate, and refine examples that models learn from. This work includes writing and rating model responses, collecting real-world inputs, and documenting processes that guide model behavior.

Contributors often work remotely and part-time, applying domain knowledge, attention to detail, and communication skills to shape how AI handles real tasks. Many projects need no prior experience; others pay more for deep subject-matter expertise.

The role

As an AI Productivity Workflow Specialist you will develop and document AI-driven processes that improve productivity. The role centers on workflow optimization, automation discovery, testing AI-powered solutions, and producing clear diagrams and instructional materials that models and teams can use.

This is a remote, contractor, part-time position that requires 20+ hours per week. Work is text-focused (TEXT data) and includes text generation, evaluation rating, and data collection tasks. Compensation is PAY_PER_HOUR at $30–$90 USD per hour.

What you'll do

• Develop and document AI-driven productivity processes for complex workflows.
• Identify repetitive tasks suitable for automation across documents, spreadsheets, messaging, and data systems.
• Analyze business, operational, or research data to propose workflow improvements.
• Design workflow diagrams and clear instructional materials for automation strategies.
• Test and refine AI-powered solutions using real-world inputs and record outcomes.
• Collaborate with project teams to translate requirements into actionable workflows.
• Capture detailed feedback that helps improve AI models and system behavior.

Requirements
