About this role OpenTrain is recruiting for an AI Data Generalist to analyze, evaluate, and annotate varied datasets that support AI system training and validation. This is a remote contractor engagement with an advertised rate of $50‑$90 per hour; project timing and weekly hours may vary by assignment.
What you will do You will analyze and annotate a variety of datasets used for AI training and validation, evaluate model outputs for relevance, accuracy, and quality, and refine written input and feedback according to project requirements. The work also involves applying critical thinking to problem-solving tasks across multiple domains, following task guidelines and quality assurance processes, communicating findings clearly in written and verbal formats, and completing detail-oriented work independently and collaboratively.
Required skills You should have exceptional written and spoken English, strong critical thinking and analytical skills, and the ability to deliver precise, detail-oriented work. Clear written and verbal communication, comfort working independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, and a commitment to completing requirements on time and to a high standard are required.
