Software Developer

You will create realistic coding tasks for AI models and build reliable scripts that check whether submitted solutions work correctly. The work focuses on feature implementation, bug fixes, debugging, and code reasoning.

• Design challenging coding tasks based on real-world feature work and bug fixes.
• Build deterministic verifiers that accept correct solutions and reject incorrect ones.
• Use backend engineering skills to create high-quality AI training data.
• Work with the project team to refine task difficulty and review quality.
• Apply secure coding principles, automated testing, and clear technical communication.

What It Pays and Takes

This is a part-time contractor role with a flexible schedule.

• $30 to $100 per hour equivalent, paid per task that meets the project specifications.
• Approximately 15 hours per week, with fewer than 20 hours expected.
• Set your own hours and days, including weekends if desired.
• Remote and open to candidates in the countries listed for this role.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong backend development experience in Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or a similar language.
• Experience building scalable services and APIs.
• Comfort with debugging, performance work, and automated testing.
• Strong code review judgment and knowledge of secure coding principles.
• Ability to design clear coding challenges and automated verifiers.
• Helpful experience includes cybersecurity, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, security code reviews, codebase refactoring, and complex features in large applications.
• Expected start is within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.
