You will create, solve, review, and validate engineering tasks used to train AI systems. The work focuses on aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), engineering simulation, and Python-based workflows that can run through command-line tools.
You will turn physical requirements into computational models and solver-ready cases, then assess whether the results are numerically stable and physically valid.
- Analyze airfoils and other aerodynamic problems.
- Create or modify geometries, computational domains, and meshes.
- Set initial conditions, boundary conditions, fluid properties, and solver settings.
- Run CFD and aerodynamic analyses through command-line-accessible tools.
- Use Python to automate preprocessing, simulations, parameter sweeps, postprocessing, and validation.
- Calculate lift and drag and assess whether results are physically reasonable.
- Diagnose non-convergence, unstable solutions, incorrect results, and physically invalid outputs.
- Explain modeling assumptions, mesh strategies, solver settings, and engineering trade-offs clearly.
What It Pays and Takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role for someone who can work independently on technical engineering and AI-training tasks.
- $80 to $120 per hour equivalent, paid per task that meets the project specifications.
- Approximately 15 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.
- Open to candidates in the United Arab Emirates, Argentina, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Switzerland, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Denmark, Algeria, Egypt, Spain, France, Ghana, Greece, Indonesia, India, Italy, Jordan, Japan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Mexico, Malaysia, Nigeria, the Netherlands, Oman, Peru, the Philippines, Pakistan, Palestine, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Tunisia, Taiwan, the United States, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and South Africa.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience level: entry level.
- Graduate training in aerospace engineering, or mechanical engineering with a specialization in aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, or thermofluids.
- Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering with 1 to 2 years of aerospace-specific professional or research experience.
- Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics and applied aerodynamics.
- Experience formulating and running CFD or aerodynamic analyses.
- Practical Python skills and experience with a command-line tool, scripting interface, configuration-based tool, or programmatic API.
- Helpful tools include OpenFOAM, SU2, Gmsh, FEniCSx, Elmer, CalculiX, SciPy, NumPy, pandas, Matplotlib, Jupyter, solver APIs, and mesh-processing libraries. Equivalent engineering software experience is also acceptable.

About AI Training Work
AI training work uses examples prepared and reviewed by people to help artificial intelligence systems improve. Experts are needed for specialized tasks because they can judge technical accuracy, explain reasoning, and identify results that do not match real-world engineering principles.
