You will support AI training by solving difficult scientific, mathematical, and technical problems, then checking whether AI-generated solutions are correct. Your work may focus on a STEM field you know deeply, such as chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics, earth science, geoscience, environmental science, or robotics.
- Solve complex scientific, mathematical, or technical problems in your area of expertise.
- Develop rigorous solutions and use Python for calculations or simulations.
- Review AI-generated answers for factual, mathematical, and scientific correctness.
- Find incorrect assumptions, reasoning errors, missing constraints, and subtle technical mistakes.
- Decide whether technical answers meet the relevant scientific or technical standards.
- Explain errors in reasoning, calculations, or assumptions clearly and precisely.
What It Pays And Takes
This is a fully remote, part-time contractor role listed as entry level. A specific degree or number of years of experience is not required when you can demonstrate strong expertise.
- Pay: $60 to $120 per hour equivalent, paid per task that meets the project specifications.

- Location: Fully remote and open to candidates in selected countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, subject to applicable provider hiring eligibility.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of at least one STEM or scientific field, such as chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics, earth science, geoscience, environmental science, robotics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Technical skills: Practical proficiency with Python or another programming language and strong scientific, mathematical, or quantitative problem-solving ability.
- Workflow experience: Experience using coding agents in a technical workflow.
- Helpful tools: NumPy, SciPy, pandas, SymPy, Jupyter, or domain-specific scientific libraries may help, but no particular Python library is required.
