The Accounting and Finance AI Advisor Role

OpenTrain is seeking an experienced finance professional to analyze financial data, answer accounting and finance questions, and provide advisory recommendations for AI applications. The work combines general help support with complex questions involving accounting, bookkeeping, and financial information.

You will apply sound accounting judgment to business and financial scenarios while explaining your reasoning clearly. The role is intended for someone with senior-level experience advising organizations and small or midsize business clients or owners.

• Answer complex accounting, bookkeeping, and finance-related questions
• Develop advisory recommendations using financial information
• Support general help inquiries and data-heavy finance questions
• Apply professional judgment to accounting and financial scenarios

Required Experience and Skills

Applicants should bring at least five years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, financial consulting, or a related field. The role requires the ability to handle complex accounting and finance-related queries with accuracy and professional judgment.

Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Omni Chat is required. Experience working with or advising three or more organizations is also required.

• Senior-level experience as a CFO Advisor, Controller, Finance Manager, Financial Consultant, or comparable finance professional
• Experience supporting or advising small and midsize business clients or owners
• Experience working with or advising three or more organizations
• Ability to analyze financial data and answer complex accounting questions
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Omni Chat
• English language capability

Helpful Professional Background

Experience owning or managing the finances of a small or midsize business is helpful, particularly experience with US-based businesses. Relevant backgrounds may include senior accounting leadership, financial control, finance direction, CFO advisory work, or other senior finance expertise.

Working Arrangement
