OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help contributors discover specialized AI training work, build a unified portfolio, and grow a durable freelance career—remote and flexible by design.
OpenTrain AI is the hiring and contracting organization for this role. We support contributors with clear project guidelines, secure data-handling policies, and consistent communication so you can focus on high-quality capture and annotation work.
Why AI training work matters
AI training is the human side of building modern AI: people create, review, and annotate examples that teach models how to behave. This role places you at the intersection of gaming and AI—your gameplay captures and annotations directly improve how models understand in-game action and visuals.
Work in this field is typically remote, flexible, and accessible: many projects need game familiarity and attention to detail rather than formal credentials, and contributors help shape state-of-the-art systems.
The role
We are recruiting a Gameplay Data Capture Specialist to play top-tier AAA games and systematically capture gameplay video using in-house capture tools. You will record sessions, create accurate annotations and classifications, troubleshoot capture workflows, and ensure files are stored and transferred to project specifications.
This is a part-time contract role requiring 20+ hours per week. You must be comfortable working remotely, communicating clearly with a distributed team, and adapting to evolving capture instructions.
