About AI Work Product Evaluation

AI training depends on experts who review generated outputs against real professional standards. In this role, your judgment will help assess whether AI-generated sales and order-management work is accurate, practical, and suitable for professional use.

• Review realistic AI-agent attempts at professional tasks
• Check domain accuracy, figures, terminology, constraints, and consistency
• Explain where automated grading agrees or disagrees with the underlying work

The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Technical Sales AI Work Product Reviewer to evaluate AI-generated work related to wholesale, technical sales, scientific products, distribution sales, and order management. You will review the complete work product, supporting files, and an existing grading scorecard.

You will determine whether each task reflects authentic professional work, assess the accuracy of its domain details and figures, and decide whether the final result is usable by a practitioner. Plan to spend approximately one hour per item.

• Hourly contractor pay of $50 to $55
• Default commitment of approximately 10 hours per week
• Part-time contract work
• Work conducted remotely

What You’ll Do

Your reviews will combine practical sales judgment, document analysis, and concise written reasoning. You will independently assess the work and compare your conclusions with the reported score.

• Review complete AI-agent attempts at realistic sales or order-management tasks
• Decide whether each task resembles work that genuinely arises in the relevant profession
• Check standards, figures, regulations, terminology, constraints, and numerical consistency
• Review spreadsheets and PDFs and reconcile the figures they contain
• Compare an AI grader’s yes-or-no assessments with the underlying files
• Explain the reason for each disagreement or judgment
• Assign your own quality band
• Assess whether the completed work is usable
• Compare your assessment with the reported score

Required Experience and Skills

You should bring substantial practical experience in technical or scientific product sales, B2B or distribution sales management, or distributor and manufacturer order operations. The work requires the ability to recognize incorrect specifications, inaccurate proposals, inconsistent terms, and other domain errors.

• Four or more years selling technical or scientific products, including sizing, specifying, and quoting them
• Or four or more years managing a B2B or distribution sales team, quota, and pipeline
• Or three or more years managing distributor or manufacturer order entry and orders, including quotes, purchase orders, and backorders
• Strong practical judgment when identifying incorrect specifications and inaccurate proposals
• Ability to identify incorrect terms and other domain errors
• Near-native business English
• Clear written reasoning
• Comfort reviewing spreadsheets or PDFs and reconciling figures

Helpful Professional Background

Experience correcting sales proposals before they reach customers, resolving orders shipped against incorrect terms, or working directly with technical product specifications is especially relevant to this work.
