The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Vietnamese AI Safety Evaluator to assess how advanced AI models handle sensitive subjects in Vietnamese. You will create evaluation prompts and review model-related conversations with attention to safety, cultural nuance, and dual-use information.

Prior AI or machine-learning experience is not required. The expected commitment is approximately 7 hours per week, with compensation of $18-$22 per hour.

What You'll Do

You will apply structured evaluation guidelines consistently while documenting the reasoning behind your decisions. The work requires nuanced Vietnamese language ability and thoughtful review of sensitive and potentially dual-use content.

• Write expert-level prompts in Vietnamese across sensitive subject areas
• Classify prompts and conversations using structured guidelines
• Flag adversarial phrasing and escalation patterns
• Document the reasoning behind your judgments

Requirements

This role requires native or near-native Vietnamese fluency for nuanced safety and cultural judgments, along with business-level written English for clear evaluation notes. You should be comfortable following detailed instructions and applying evaluation standards consistently.

A bachelor's degree, completed or in progress, is required. Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content is helpful but not required.
