Venture Capital AI Training Associate

You will help create datasets that teach AI systems how venture professionals assess companies, markets, founders, and investment decisions. The work combines practical venture capital analysis with careful review of AI-generated content.

• Design tasks based on deal screening, TAM, SAM, and SOM market sizing, competitive analysis, founder evaluation, and investment committee memo drafting.
• Analyze early-stage and growth startups across financials, product-market fit, market opportunities, competitive positioning, and team effectiveness.
• Build and interpret financial projections, cap tables, and scenario analyses for early-stage companies.
• Evaluate whether AI-generated outputs show accurate pattern matching, realistic market sizing, and sound venture capital judgment.
• Help improve evaluation rubrics, task complexity, sector and company-stage coverage, and written methods for venture capital analysis.

What It Pays And Takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor role. Prior AI training experience is not required, but the work requires strong venture capital judgment, careful analysis, and precise written documentation.

• Pay: $45 to $100 per hour.

• Experience level: Entry level.
• Experience: Three to six or more years in venture capital, growth equity, or startup operations with significant deal evaluation experience.
• Preferred background: Experience writing investment committee memoranda and performing diligence on deals reviewed by investment partners.
• Skills: Market sizing, founder assessment, competitive analysis, financial projections, cap tables, scenario analysis, precise analytical writing, and reasoning with incomplete information.
• Helpful background: An MBA, master's degree in finance, experience across company stages from pre-seed through growth, work across multiple sectors, or an operator or founder background with substantial investment evaluation exposure.
