The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to contribute to a project focused on improving digital product experiences, visual quality, and usability. You will create, evaluate, and refine real-world design work while translating user and business requirements into practical solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong visual-design expertise with practical UX thinking. You should be comfortable taking a design problem, understanding the requirements, developing a solution in Figma, and clearly explaining why the design works.

What You'll Do

You will independently produce high-quality design work, review design iterations, and communicate actionable recommendations within project milestones and deadlines. The role requires both hands-on design ability and the critical judgment to evaluate whether an interface is clear, consistent, usable, and visually effective.

• Create polished, user-focused UI/UX designs, layouts, and digital interfaces
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design systems using Figma
• Apply typography, visual hierarchy, spacing, composition, and layout principles
• Translate user and business requirements into practical design solutions
• Review iterations for usability, consistency, and visual-quality issues
• Provide clear, constructive, and actionable design feedback

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

Applicants should bring professional UI/UX or graphic-design experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating the quality and impact of their work. You should be able to analyze design problems, explain your decisions clearly, and iterate based on requirements and feedback.
