Role Overview

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, user-centered, and visually appealing digital experiences. This is a contract role for intermediate-level designers with 2+ years of experience.

You will be evaluated via a short AI-driven interview and text-based exercises that test your ability to translate business requirements into effective designs, explain trade-offs, and demonstrate hands-on experience with design tools and processes.

What You'll Do

Deliver thoughtful, user-centered UI/UX work that demonstrates process and outcomes. Expect to answer scenario-based questions and complete short text prompts as part of the AI interview.

Collaborate conceptually with product and engineering stakeholders (in the interview context you will explain how you would work with cross-functional teams and make design decisions).

• Describe user research approaches and synthesize findings into design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and responsive layouts and explain trade-offs
• Demonstrate knowledge of design systems and accessibility best practices
• Explain end-to-end contributions to past projects from discovery through delivery

Requirements

Candidates must have at least 2 years of UI/UX design experience and a strong grasp of user-centered design principles.

You should be able to discuss and demonstrate your process through portfolio examples and respond clearly to written prompts during the AI interview.

• 2+ years of hands-on UI/UX or product design experience
• Practical experience with wireframing, prototyping, responsive design, and usability testing
• Familiarity with design systems and accessibility best practices
• Comfort using Figma (the AI interview will evaluate your familiarity with common design tools)
• Ability to explain decisions, collaborate with teams, and solve usability challenges
• A portfolio showcasing end-to-end contributions to product design projects

Selection Process — AI Interview Details

Applications will include a short AI-driven interview consisting of text prompts and evaluation ratings. The interview is designed to assess practical skills, reasoning, and communication rather than live design work.

The AI interview will evaluate your ability to: conduct user research, translate requirements into UX solutions, explain trade-offs, solve usability problems, demonstrate accessibility knowledge, and describe contributions to past projects.

• Be prepared to reference portfolio examples and describe process and outcomes
