The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a TV & Movies Domain AI Review Evaluator to support quality assurance for large language model evaluation projects. You will review entertainment-focused prompts and completed AI tasks, assessing factual accuracy, reasoning quality, guideline compliance, and potential hallucinations.

This is a remote contractor assignment for candidates based in the United States, excluding California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Vermont. The assignment is scheduled to last eight weeks.

What You'll Do

You will apply detailed knowledge of television, movies, and the entertainment industry to evaluate AI-generated material. Your reviews should be accurate, consistent, and supported by clear evidence.

  • Review and validate prompts about TV shows, films, actors, directors, genres, streaming platforms, and entertainment history.
  • Evaluate completed tasks for factual accuracy, reasoning quality, and hallucinations.
  • Identify subtle errors, inconsistencies, stereotypes, and unsupported claims in entertainment content.
  • Provide constructive, evidence-based feedback to improve annotation and evaluation quality.
  • Follow established quality standards and escalate ambiguous cases when needed.
  • Collaborate with AI teams and project managers to refine review processes.

Requirements

This role requires strong professional and academic preparation in entertainment, media, or a closely related field. The project details classify the opportunity as entry level, while the role requirements call for substantial subject-matter experience.

  • Master's degree or higher; Film Studies, Television Studies, Media Studies, Journalism, or related degrees are preferred.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in entertainment journalism, film or TV criticism, media analysis, or a related area.
  • Deep knowledge of movies, TV series, actors, directors, genres, streaming platforms, and entertainment industry developments.
  • Experience reviewing and evaluating large language model-generated responses for factual accuracy.
  • Ability to identify subtle inaccuracies, stereotypes, and hallucinations in entertainment content.
  • Excellent written English, research, analytical, and evidence-based feedback skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess entertainment information accurately.
  • Experience with AI evaluation, annotation, or quality assurance is helpful.
  • Familiarity with prompt creation or content moderation for large language model training is helpful.
