OpenTrain AI connects people to careers in AI training and data labeling. We help contributors build portfolios and find ongoing project work in one place so they can grow a durable freelance career in this fast‑moving field.
We hire contributors directly for project-based contractor roles like this one — joining OpenTrain AI means working on real model evaluation tasks that shape how generative systems behave.
Why AI Training Work Matters
AI systems learn from examples and human judgment. Evaluating outputs, annotating data, and rating quality are the human skills that teach models to produce better music, speech, and text.
This type of work is remote, flexible, and accessible: many projects are part-time and let you choose hours that fit around other commitments, while contributing directly to cutting-edge AI development.
The Role
You will evaluate generative music outputs in Turkish, focusing on lyrics, vocal generation, musicality, creativity, and production/mix quality. Work is contractor, part-time (under 20 hours/week) and can be done remotely worldwide.
Tasks combine subjective rating and structured classification: you will compare samples, rate quality, and tag songs using a taxonomy for genre, structure, and vocal/instrumental characteristics.
Employment type: Contractor, Part-time (less than 20 hours/week)
Data type: Audio (AI-generated music samples)
Label types: Evaluation/Rating and Classification
What You Will Do
Evaluate AI-generated lyrics and vocal outputs for clarity, expressiveness, lyrical quality, and adherence to prompts.
Compare music samples head-to-head and rate them on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production or mix quality.
Annotate and tag tracks using a structured taxonomy covering genre, song structure, and vocal versus instrumental characteristics.
Assess the quality of musical training data used for model evaluation and flag problematic or low-quality samples.
Requirements
This is an expert-level role: candidates must have hands-on music production, audio engineering, or sound-mixing experience, plus strong musical knowledge and lyrical ability in Turkish.
You must be native or near-native in Turkish and have strong English comprehension (able to follow directions and annotations in English).
Music production, audio engineering, or sound mixing experience (required)
Strong understanding of musical performance, theory, and lyrics
Past experience writing lyrical music in Turkish
Native or near-native Turkish and strong English comprehension
Who Should Apply
Experienced music producers, audio engineers, sound mixers, or professional songwriters who write Turkish lyrics and understand production quality are a great fit.
If you enjoy careful listening, can make consistent subjective judgments, and can follow English instructions for annotation tasks, apply.
