The Role
OpenTrain AI is hiring Tongan bilingual experts to transcribe, evaluate, and linguistically analyze Tongan audio and video. Your work will improve speech and language models by producing high-quality transcripts, timestamping, tone and intent analysis, and detailed notes on idioms and grammar.
This is a contract, part-time role working with audio data and tasks labeled as TRANSCRIPTION and EVALUATION_RATING.
What You'll Do
Transcribe Tongan audio and video into accurate written text with precise timestamps.
Analyze emotional tone and speaker intent across varied scenarios.
Review transcriptions for grammatical structure, clarity, and fluency in Tongan and English.
Define and contextualize complex or idiomatic Tongan words and expressions for non-native users.
Provide detailed feedback on language usage, tone, and linguistic nuances.
