Toast POS AI Training Specialist

The work

You will help improve AI systems that need to understand real restaurant order and payment processes. Your work will draw on hands-on Toast POS experience and practical knowledge of restaurant operations.

• Analyze Toast POS workflows for order entry, payment processing, reporting, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Create scenario-based documentation and step-by-step guides based on real restaurant operations.
• Review system functionality and identify ways to improve workflows and user outcomes.
• Explain best practices for different restaurant settings.
• Evaluate transaction data, menus, and order flows.
• Communicate Toast POS concepts clearly in writing and verbally.
• Help refine prompts, tasks, and datasets related to restaurant order management.

What it pays and takes

Prior AI training experience is not required. You do need significant hands-on Toast POS experience, including daily operation, configuration, and troubleshooting in restaurant settings.

• Pay: $28 to $92 per hour.
• Hours: 20 or more hours per week.
• Work arrangement: Remote contractor and part-time.
• Language: English.
• Location: Applicants must be based in an eligible country listed for this role.
• Understand how restaurant workflows connect with point-of-sale, ordering, and payment processes.
• Bring strong written and verbal communication, process documentation, analytical judgment, and attention to detail.
• Follow detailed project instructions and work independently.
• Experience with quick-service, casual, or fine-dining operations is valuable.
• Experience training or supporting others with restaurant technology is valuable.
