The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Thai Generative Music AI Evaluator to provide expert feedback on AI-generated music. You will assess songs across genres, compare musical qualities against detailed standards, and classify musical characteristics in Thai and English.

This role is suited to an experienced music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer who can make consistent judgments about musicality, creativity, vocals, prompt adherence, and production quality.

• Remote contractor position

• Project duration of up to six months
• Pay rate of $18 per hour

What You'll Do

You will evaluate AI-generated songs using detailed quality standards and provide clear explanations for your judgments. The work covers a broad range of contemporary musical styles and requires consistent decisions across different examples.

• Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head for musicality and creativity
• Assess prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production or mix quality
• Rate generated music against detailed evaluation standards
• Explain the reasoning behind relevant quality judgments
• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other characteristics
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy
• Apply consistent evaluation decisions across contemporary musical styles

Requirements

You must be a native or near-native Thai speaker and able to follow detailed written project instructions in English. At least two years of professional experience in music production, audio engineering, or mixing is required.

Critical listening is central to this work, so you must have access to headphones or studio monitors suitable for detailed audio evaluation.
