The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking a Latin American Spanish Audio Preference Evaluator for a project focused on Latin American Spanish speech evaluation. You will listen to two audio output options and make consistent A/B preference judgments according to detailed project guidelines.
The project is expected to run for 3 to 6 months. It is a part-time contractor opportunity for intermediate-level contributors and requires comfort working in Spanish.
Pay: USD $6.50–$7.00 per hour

What You'll Do
You will evaluate audio recordings and compare two versions of an audio output. For each comparison, select which recording is better based on the project criteria and the provided rating guidance.
Listen carefully to spoken Latin American Spanish audio
Make A/B preference selections between two recordings
Follow detailed rating and preference guidelines consistently
Complete evaluation and audio-recording labeling tasks using the project’s designated labeling software
Requirements
This role is intended for native or fluent Latin American Spanish speakers with strong listening comprehension. You should be able to recognize meaningful differences in spoken Spanish and make reliable judgments across repeated evaluations.
The project requires fluent English proficiency and enough English comprehension to understand written instructions. Experience is preferred but not required in every area listed below.
Native or fluent proficiency in Latin American Spanish
Strong comprehension of spoken Latin American Spanish
Ability to distinguish pronunciation, clarity, fluency, accent, and naturalness
Fluent English proficiency and comfort understanding written project instructions
Ability to make consistent A/B judgments between audio recordings
Experience with audio labeling workflows and evaluation or rating tasks
Experience with audio evaluation, linguistic annotation, transcription, quality assurance, or related language-data work is preferred
Familiarity with regional Latin American Spanish accents and vocabulary is preferred
Access to a quiet listening environment and reliable headphones
