You will create reproducible coding environments for AI systems. The work combines backend engineering with writing, reviewing, and documenting data used to train and evaluate coding models.
- Design realistic tasks covering feature implementation, bug fixing, refactoring, and performance improvement.
- Create reference solutions and deterministic verifiers that accept valid solutions and reject incorrect ones.
- Write code samples, debugging strategies, development insights, and technical reasoning in supported programming languages.
- Analyze software defects and performance bottlenecks across different codebases.
- Refactor legacy systems to improve clarity, efficiency, scalability, and long-term reliability.
- Review peer-contributed code and technical submissions for accuracy and clear explanations.
What it pays and takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor opportunity for candidates in supported locations. Previous AI experience is not required, but strong software engineering judgment is important.
- $50 to $100 per hour equivalent, paid per task that meets the project specifications.
- Typical task runs are approximately 15 hours.
