Senior Software Engineer, LLM Code Evaluation

Use your software engineering experience to prepare code examples, develop and correct solutions, and evaluate AI-generated code. You will review work across backend and frontend projects and explain your judgments clearly.

• Assess code quality, efficiency, scalability, and reliability in Python, JavaScript with React and Node.js, C/C++, Java, Rust, and Go.
• Identify recurring errors, help build ways to verify software solutions, and evaluate code against performance benchmarks.
• Work with cross-functional teams and provide clear written reasons for your evaluations.

Hours, location, and requirements

• Engagement: Remote contractor role for candidates based in the United States.
• Hours: Flexible commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week.
• Duration: One month initially, with possible extensions based on performance and fit.
• Experience: At least three years of software engineering experience.
• Skills: Strong full-stack development expertise with Python and JavaScript, including React and Node.js, plus experience deploying scalable, production-grade software.
• You should understand software architecture, design, development, debugging, and code review across backend and frontend codebases.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills are needed to provide clear, structured evaluation reasons.
• Experience shipping important products in fast-moving engineering environments is helpful. Strong computer science foundations or comparable practical experience are relevant.
