The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Social Media AI Agent Evaluation Expert to create and test realistic simulated marketing environments. You will bring hands-on experience with brand social accounts, social inboxes, publishing workflows, analytics, and response decisions.

The role is listed as entry level, but it requires practical experience running brand social accounts and managing social inboxes. It is a remote contractor position with an expected commitment of about 20 hours per week.

What You’ll Do

You will translate real social media practice into structured scenarios, reference answers, and evaluation standards. Your assessments will cover both the quality of an AI agent’s decisions and its ability to complete realistic, multi-step workflows.

  • Design task briefs based on social media work you have personally performed
  • Define the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states needed for realistic scenarios
  • Write or review reference answers and evaluation criteria
  • Assess AI agent attempts against clear practitioner standards
  • Evaluate diagnosis, prioritization, execution planning, and quality assurance
  • Apply judgment to triage, escalation, research, reporting, and multi-step workflows
  • Review decisions involving social inboxes, campaign publishing, and response handling
  • Assess share-of-voice analysis and owned-channel response judgment

Required Experience and Skills

This role requires clear written reasoning about social media tradeoffs, response judgment, and AI agent quality. You should be comfortable turning practical marketing experience into realistic cases and consistent evaluation rubrics.

  • Hands-on experience running brand social accounts
  • Hands-on experience managing social inboxes
  • Fluency with a social management platform such as Sprout Social
  • Ability to interpret native social platform analytics
  • Practical knowledge of campaign and publishing execution
  • Practical knowledge of share-of-voice analysis
  • Ability to design realistic social media scenarios, reference answers, and evaluation rubrics
  • Clear written reasoning about social media decisions and AI agent performance

Preferred Background

Experience building AI training environments, reinforcement-learning environments, or simulated case studies is strongly preferred. Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification is also valuable.
