The work

Help create and review software examples used to train and evaluate AI coding systems. You will assess AI-generated code, develop corrections, and judge whether solutions are reliable and ready for production.

  • Create code examples and solutions for model training and benchmarking.
  • Review code across Python backends, machine learning workflows, JavaScript applications, React interfaces, and Node.js APIs, with some tasks involving C/C++, Java, Rust, and Go.
  • Identify common errors and build automated checks or agents to test software quality and correctness.
  • Assess work across software development stages, from architecture and API design to launch, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve AI coding systems against industry benchmarks.

What the role requires and offers

  • Experience: At least three years in software engineering.
  • Skills: Strong full-stack development skills in Python and JavaScript, including React and Node.js; experience deploying scalable, production-grade software; and knowledge of software architecture, design, debugging, and code quality.
  • Communication: Ability to write and explain clear, structured reasons for technical evaluations.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Location: Open to candidates based in the United States.
  • Hours: Flexible availability from 10 to 40 hours per week.
  • Engagement: Contractor role with an initial one-month duration and possible extensions based on performance and fit.
  • Relevant background: Experience with advanced intelligent systems or AI research is useful. Demonstrated technical ability matters more than academic background.
