You will provide senior clinical review for complex or unclear dermatology cases used in AI model evaluation and data curation. The work calls for careful clinical judgment, clear written reasoning, and reliable documentation.
You will also help improve clinical evaluation methods and provide consultation across relevant dermatology specialties.
- Review complex or ambiguous dermatology cases.
- Review AI model outputs and provide expert clinical feedback.
- Resolve clinical disagreements through structured consensus building.
- Contribute to evaluation frameworks and guideline-aligned case commentary.
- Provide subspecialty consultation across dermatology areas.
- Maintain protocol-aligned documentation for assigned case batches.
- Work comfortably with graphic medical images and clinically complex cases.
What it pays and takes
This is a fully remote, asynchronous independent contractor role with occasional synchronous calls. The engagement is expected to last four weeks, and assignments may be extended based on project needs.
Compensation is structured per task. The role is open to candidates in the United States who meet the clinical and academic requirements below.

- Academic status: Assistant Professor level or above at an accredited US medical school or academic medical center.
- Certification: Board certification in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology.
- Experience: At least three years of experience after residency.
- Licensure: An active US medical license in good standing.
- Clinical background: Active clinical practice and strong knowledge of current dermatology guidelines.
- Core skills: Strong written clinical reasoning and the ability to lead and document consensus.
Helpful background
Subspecialty fellowship training can be useful, including dermatopathology, Mohs or procedural dermatology, pediatric dermatology, or complex medical dermatology.
Other relevant experience includes peer-reviewed dermatology publications, journal peer review, research committee or institutional review board service, teaching residents or fellows, specialty society involvement, and clinical AI evaluation or dermatology AI research.
