You will use clinical judgment to review medical records and inpatient documentation used to improve AI systems. The work focuses on checking whether clinical claims are supported by FHIR data and real-world clinical notes.
You will apply written review standards consistently and explain your findings clearly so teams can improve model performance and data quality.
- Review FHIR data, clinical notes, and inpatient medical records for AI training.
- Check whether clinical information and claims are supported by the medical record.
- Evaluate HPI, past medical history, assessments, plans, and other inpatient documentation.
- Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information.
- Provide clear feedback on documentation quality and AI model performance.
What It Pays And Takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role for a medical professional. Work has variable completion times and includes minimum weekly task submission requirements.
- Pay: $80 to $125 per hour equivalent, paid per task that meets the project specifications.

- Required: MD or DO with board certification in Family Medicine, including a Hospital Medicine focus or certification where applicable.
- Required: At least five years of hospitalist experience and current or recent inpatient or hospitalist practice within the last two years.
- Required: Strong understanding of admissions, daily progress notes, transitions of care, and discharge documentation.
- Required: Comfort reviewing clinical notes, FHIR data, and raw medical records.
- Required: Careful attention to detail and consistent use of written standards.
- Helpful: Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, medical coding, or quality assurance.
- Helpful: Experience with adult medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or obstetric and newborn care.
