The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a SaaS revenue operations and CRM systems expert for a part-time, remote contractor role. You will help train AI systems through hands-on expertise in CRM administration, revenue tooling, workflow design, data integrity, and customer success operations.

The role pays $40-$80 per hour and requires 20+ hours per week. English is required, and the opportunity is available worldwide. The project details classify this opportunity as entry level, while the role requirements call for at least four years of hands-on SaaS operations experience.

  • Time commitment: 20+ hours per week
  • Engagement: Part-time contractor
  • Location: Worldwide and fully remote
  • Language: English

What You'll Do

You will apply practical judgment to CRM and revenue operations scenarios, helping create useful training data and feedback for AI systems. The work combines hands-on systems knowledge with clear explanations, documentation, and stakeholder-focused decision-making.

  • Configure and optimize Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable CRM platforms
  • Integrate and manage tools for quoting, billing, ticketing, project tracking, onboarding, or workflow automation
  • Establish and document scalable workflows that adapt to changing business requirements
  • Encourage adoption of new workflows among sales and customer success stakeholders
  • Monitor data quality across connected systems, identify discrepancies, and resolve operational issues
  • Assess conflicts between operational policies and recommend practical, sustainable resolutions
  • Produce clear reports and documentation that improve transparency and usability
  • Share feedback on system usability and adoption to support better operational practices and AI training data

Requirements

This opportunity is designed for someone who has directly owned CRM and connected revenue systems in a SaaS environment. Strong candidates can simplify complex processes, protect data integrity, communicate decisions clearly, and help sales and customer success teams adopt new ways of working.

  • At least four years of hands-on experience in sales, revenue, or customer success operations within a SaaS environment
  • Direct responsibility for configuring and maintaining a CRM platform
  • Hands-on ownership of CRM fields, workflows, automation, or permissions
  • Experience administering at least two connected tools beyond the CRM, such as CPQ, billing, ticketing, project tracking, onboarding, or integration platforms
  • Practical judgment for resolving conflicts between operational policies without overcomplicating processes
  • Ability to maintain data integrity across interconnected SaaS systems and produce actionable reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for documentation and stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of new workflows and systems among sales and customer success professionals

Helpful Background

Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, quoting or CPQ tools, subscription billing platforms, support systems, project tracking tools, or integration and automation layers can help you contribute effectively. A hands-on ownership mindset and the ability to explain operational decisions clearly are especially valuable.

  • CRM configuration and maintenance
  • Revenue operations and customer success systems
  • Quoting, CPQ, or subscription billing
  • Support, project tracking, onboarding, or automation platforms
  • Workflow adoption, reporting, and cross-system data integrity
