The Role

OpenTrain is seeking an entry-level Robotics Video Data Annotator to review and annotate robotics-focused video footage. You will evaluate clips for quality, relevance, and accuracy, identify meaningful actions, objects, and events, and apply project-specific scoring guidance consistently.

This contractor, part-time role requires a commitment of 20+ hours per week. The rate is $7 per hour. The role is conducted in English and is available in the supported countries listed for this project.

What You'll Do

You will work from detailed assignment guidelines and predefined scoring criteria to produce consistent, accurate annotations. The work combines hands-on video labeling with evaluation, documentation, and quality assurance.

You will document annotation decisions, explain ambiguities, and help clarify how scoring guidance should be applied. You will also provide feedback on the clarity of annotation guidelines and deliver completed annotations and evaluations within established project timeframes.

Requirements

You should be highly attentive to detail and committed to producing accurate, high-quality annotation. Success in this role depends on the ability to interpret complex guidelines, make consistent quality judgments, and communicate clearly about your decisions.

Prior AI experience is not required. Experience with video data annotation across multiple platforms or projects is helpful, while previous work with robotics footage or robotics-related annotation tasks is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail when reviewing video quality, relevance, and accuracy
